Anne Marie, Daniel and their two daughters, Camille and Mathilde, originally from Marseille, have fallen under the charm of Château Constantin, this unique and historic place, in Spring 2016.
Coming from a family of fruit producers, they chose a new life project and opt for a return to nature in Provence in the vineyard.
This family, passionate about wines and terroir, begins a new adventure with a vast program of rehabilitation of the vineyard in order to enhance the estate and produce quality wines each year.
Convinced by the benefits of sustainable agriculture, they take up the challenge of converting the estate to ORGANIC in order to reveal the expression of the terroir in its best. In 2020, the first organic labeled harvests will see the light of day!

A VITICULTURE ATTENTIVE TO THE FUTURE
Château Constantin is a family estate nestled between vineyards, forest and olive grove. A little corner of paradise at the gates of the famous village of Lourmarin, in the charming Luberon region. This 20 hectares organic property spans a variety of terroirs, red clay, limestone and rolled pebbles, which gives their wines complexity and freshness!
A VINEYARD WITH MILLENIUM TRADITION
The cellar has been built in the 17th century building and completely modernized in the 90’s.
The winery consists of a 50hL lightning, a 600, 400 & 225L barrels and 5hL terracotta amphoras for our plot wines to discover.
The estate still harbors traces of an ancient vineyard established 500 years before our era, then of a circuit created by the Romans to capture water from the hills and redistribute it around. Rumor has it that the name Constantin is linked to the Roman emperor of the same name, who died in 357 A.D.
